Alex Silver, adoring great-grandmother of Joshua, Ari, Robin, Rebecca and Melanie, dear sister of the late Maurice (the late Della) Shaykin. Services Wednesday, 1 p.m., at Congregation B'nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim, 901 Milwaukee Ave., Glenview, IL 60025. Interment Rosehill Cemetery. Dear David and Sharon, I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I spoke to her last year, and did a bit of reminising. Our parents enjoyed many good times together. They shared a love of dogs and of course a proud last name. My prayers are with you. Abby (Doc and Naomi Silver's daughter)
