Harvey Gold Obituary

The Gold family were friends of my parents. I bought my first car from Ben. Harvey attended B'nai Zion Day Camp when I was the director and I was so pleased when he decided to devote his life to all things Jewish.

Harvey, You were a wonderful person and friend and we are feeling so sorry at this time. We were in Florida at the time of your death, but we heard from a member of our family of your passing.

I will forever miss the occasion times I ran into you. Our friendship started with USY and it just grew into forever. Harvey was best man at my 1st wedding than became godfather to my youngest son. The memories of all these 48 plus years will last me a lifetime. What an odd coincidence for Harvey to be laid to rest 43 yrs on the same date he was our best man. The kiss you gave me that day gave all of us a big laugh........The next big kiss is the one I'll blow up into heaven!

It was one of my great pleasures to be the one who brought Elie Wiesel to Congregation Beth Shalom and to work with you on this program. I knew how much it meant to you and I loved the opportunity to work so closely with you. It is one of the highlights on my career and life. I will miss you and your friendship. Harvey was a wonderful person.
I still remember dancing with him at his Bar Mitsva and will always remember it. May he rest in peace now that he is back with his family
