Harry Jackson Obituary

Jackson III, Harry P. 45, passed away suddenly on April 14, 2013. Harry was born in Evanston, Illinois on June 16, 1967 and was a graduate of ETHS. He received a BA from Columbia College. Harry most recently resided in Newark, Ohio where he lived his passion teaching martial arts. Harry was the beloved husband of Kristina; adored father of Gage, Rowan, Kizziah and Halla Rose; cherished stepfather of Andrew, Bruce and Luke; loving son of Geneva and the late Harry P. Jackson Jr.; loved brother of Geneva Hallen Silvern (Peter); adored nephew of Hattie Fabrycy, Bertha Moss, Lillie McCray, Rachel Hall, Gwen Hall-Handley, Martha Jackson, Patricia Jackson, Christine Jones and Connie Johnson; loving nephew of Ben Yarbrough. Harry is also survived by loving cousins, friends, and extended family. A memorial service is scheduled for August 4, 2013, 1:30pm at the Levy Center, 300 Dodge Avenue, Evanston, IL.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Harry's death. He was a classmate of mine when we were young and I remember him dearly. He was one of the only third generation Evanstonians we knew, as kids. Harry was a bright and funny character and my heat is with his family.--Leah Katz
