Harry Herbig Obituary
Herbig Jr., Harry H. age 74, passed away June 9, 2010, preceded in death by his parents, Harry H. Sr. and Evelyn Herbig, survived by his wife, Joan (nee Pavlik) Herbig, his daughter Evelyn Herbig (Oscar) Lopezalles, a son, Peter A. Herbig ( fiancee Kathleen), his stepchildren, Camille Billig (Kent) Boskovich, Donald A. Billig, Sandy Billig (Dennis) Voltarel, Peggy Billig (Paul) Halper, and his grandchildren Peter, Nicholas, Brent, Amanda, Kyle, Ryan, A.J., Gabby, Jessica, Emily, Joe, Natalie "little one". Mr. Herbig Retired from Reynolds Aluminun after 40 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army 3rd Div. 4th Infantry. He loved to travel, play roulette, and he was his grandchildrens biggest fan. Visitation Friday, June 11, 2010, 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois Street, Lemont, IL 60439. Funeral services Saturday, 9:30 a.m., from the funeral home, to St. Patrick Church, Lemont, IL for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. My name is Deborah Hardin and I lived in the upstairs apartment from Harry and Silvester Arnold. I was checking the internet this evening to find out if an a neighbor had passed away and I found this.
Joan I am not sure if you remember me I was the single girl that lived upstairs. I met Harry when he was going thru his divorce and he was staying with Sil. You and I went out many times, you and Harry made a wonderful couple. I am so sorry to hear about the death of Harry. I currently live in North Carolina.
