Dear Ila Jean, Nancy and Alan, it's hard to express what has not been said already but I'll try. Your mother was an truly an icon, a remarkable woman. She was full of life and she was not going to let her physical handicapp get in the way of her being a 'good deed doer'. She touched so many peoples lives with her caring and generosity
that she will truly be missed. I will miss her alot. We will all miss her alot. You are all very special to have had such a wonderful person you can call your mother and those of us who can't have lost a friend that cannot be replaced. These memories are what we all can take forward. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

On Yom Kippur, a Day of Atonement, I think of Harriet Lewis. Two summer's ago, I served with 25 other students as a Lewis Summer Intern in the city of Chicago. Thanks to the contributions Harriet Lewis and the Lewis family made to this internship, all of our lives have changed for the better. The Lewis internship re-ignited the flame of Judaism in my heart, and inspired me to give back more to my Jewish community on campus at the University of Illinois, and the community as a whole. I will never forget Harriet Lewis, or that her vision led to a program that has sculpted my Jewish future and commitment to Tzedakah. I want to thank the family that survives Mrs. Lewis. I will never be able to repay your positive contributions to my life.
Sincerely,
Bob Morgan
