Dear Jacqueline - Janet & I send our deepest sympathies for your loss. Harold was indeed a very special and wonderful friend who we were so fortunate to have known. A talented fellow, and a Real Gentleman to the very end, easy going and friendly to all. We will always cherish the special memories of the past - Fireballing, XC Skiing, just relaxing and listening to some guitar music....and recent visits - all wonderful times. Again, our sympathies and love to you at this sad time.

Ross & Janet Reid - Saint John, N.B.

What a man, I first met Harold when we shared a vehicle travelling up the Banff Jasper Highway with my boyfriend, they were both looking forward to Helicopter Skiing in Valemount. From that day forward he warmed my heart and brought many a smile to my face. If you had the pleasure of meeting Harold you would never forget him, he was the type that could ingratiate himself into your life. Those were goods days of skiing in Fernie well before it became the resort that it is today. Although Harold and Jacqueline moved away to reside in Winnipeg, occasionally he would make the trip back to Calgary. Wish that I could be there to share many wonderful memories and definitely some interesting stories, because there were many adventures in those early years.

Dear Jacqueline,

Lana and I send our sincere condolences to you on Harold's passing. I have good memories of Harold as a friend and a bridge partner. I remember well and
fully enjoyed the bridge tournament trips that he and I went to in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon.
