Kartun, Harold Beloved husband of Muriel Silverman Kartun (nee Friend) and the late Lucille (nee Goldwasser), devoted father of Allan Kartun, Gail (Lewis) Segal and Paul (Nancy) Heller, proud grandfather of Amanda and Leah Kartun, Carl (Tracy) Segal, Jonathan (Kirsten) Segal, Emily and Michael Heller, cherished great-grandfather of Benjamin, Lucille, Matthew and Jacob, dear brother of Lawrence (the late Barbara) Kartun, caring step-father of Robert (Noreen) Silverman and Wayne (Laura) Silverman, cherished grandfather of Ethan Silverman and Isaac Silverman. Services Wednesday 1 p.m., at Congregation Solel, 1301 Clavey Road, Highland Park, IL, 60035. Interment Rosemont Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Congregation Solel. For info, please call: 847-433-3555.
