Harold Karbin Obituary

He was so kind to me as I was stepping into my father's shoes of running the business. Always asked about my adopted son Brendan, he was my sons adopted grandfather a running conversation. Both he and his wife lovely people. May his memory be a blessing.

Grief is an individual journey that everyone travels in their own way. There is no right or wrong way or timeframe. Someone gave me this quote and I wish I had it to share when I was a peer parent grief counselor.
I promise you this, there will come a day when you think of your loved one that a smile comes to your lips before a tear comes to your eye. That day will come I promise you.

My heartfelt condolences to the Karbin family. Harold and his wife were adopted grandparents of my adopted son Brendan. We shared a warmth and connection that were more family than business. When I used to call in I would ask for Mom and Mrs Karbin and I would chat for a few minutes about family. The Karbins were warm, caring and lovely to me always. The bike business was a better place because of the Karbin family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My sincere condolence to the Karbin family on your loss. Harold was a great guy and fun to work for. It brings a smile to my face when I think about working at Lex with Harold,Ray and the guys.

I took care of Mr.Karbin in his last days and I was saddened to hear about the news. My condolences to his wife who he spoke so dearly of and to his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Mr. Karbin left a lasting impression and I will miss him. He was definitely my favorite. P.S. I didn't go see the Bulls play that night, just for you ;-)
