Dr. Appel, what can I possibly say about someone who meant so much. You were my life line in such a REAL sense. You kept me from jumping off that edge when I was so young. And then you became a friend. Someone that I knew loved me and my family. I was looking at a picture of us from my first wedding. Funny, I don't have any other wedding pictures from that marriage (LOL)- but I have that beautiful one of us. I'm sure I will see you again some day. With love, Dolly (Tammi )

May time soften the pain until all that remain is the wonderful memories you've shared with Harold and the comfort of God Psalms 119:76.

Harold Appel,
I will miss you, my friend.
Thanks for always taking my phone calls, for advising me on family matters and health matters, and for appreciating me as a human being.
Thanks for helping me with Phoebe.
Being able to put her on the phone with you at any hour made a big difference in my sanity.
You are one of a kind, that's for sure.
My world has grown a little darker now, with your light burned out.
I'm glad we got to talk a few times before it was too late...
love, Ivy/Gloria

My condolences go out to Harold's family and friends. May you find comfort at Isaiah 51:12 to know that God (Isaiah 51:12) is the "One comforting you". By prayer he will give you strength and comfort you in this difficult time.
