Mrs. DeVito & extended DeVito family,

I wish to express my deepest apologies to each of you for having missed Guy’s wake and funeral services. I misunderstood from Terry that the obituary would be published in all of the newspapers and unfortunately, only read the Northwest Herald. It never occurred to me that the Northwest Herald was a non-union paper. On the day that Guy was buried, I was able to reach Terry only to learn that I had missed the services. I had known Guy throughout my highschool years and have represented him along with other members in your family throughout my entire 29 years of legal practice, which I consider to be an honor bestowed upon me by Guy. Guy was a first class gentlemen in every sense of the word. If there is anything that I can do, please contact me. Again, please accept my sincere apologies for my oversight and for your loss. My sincere condolences to the Guy DeVito family.

In the late '50's an early '60's Guy was a mentor to many of us young apprentices.Guy came out of a great generation where your word and handshake was golden. His teachings of fairness on and off the playing field were valued by many. He shepherded for Stereo #4 for nearly 20 years and never were we in better hands and then he went on to lead a larger flock till his retirement.

I know I speak for many of us that we owe a lot to Guy, not only financially but spiritually. I know I'm a better person having the privilege of knowing Guy.
