Vrahnos, Gus beloved husband of Antonia (nee Antonopoulos), loving father of Fany (Spiro) Karahalios and Dimitra (Jerry) Travlos, proud grandfather of Vicky and Dean Karahalios, John and Anthony Travlos, dear brother of Georgia (the late Christos) Siabanis, Dimitrios (the late Eleni) Fassos, Eleni (the late Peter) Tsevopoulos and the late Vasiliki (the late George) Droulias, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of Achladokambos Society. Visitation Thursday, from 4 to 9 p.m., at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 W. Dempster St. (at Tri-state 294), Des Plaines, IL 60016 for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John the Baptist Church appreciated. Arrangements by: John G. Adinamis Funeral Director, Ltd., 773-736-3833.
