Grace Saputo Obituary

Saputo, Grace M. Grace M. Saputo (nee Radek), 78, of Lake in the Hills passed away peacefully April 21, 2011 at Pepper Family Hospice House in Barrington. She was born July 2, 1932 in Chicago. Grace was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who enjoyed making stained glass and spending time with her family. Her survivors include her husband of 60 years, Joseph; children, Kathleen (Dennis) Grzelak and Deborah Czerniak; brother Norbert (Joanne) Radek, grandchildren, Toby (Molly) Czerniak, Nicole Grzelak and Joseph Czerniak; great grandchildren, Hanna, Morgan and Madi Czerniak; best friend/sister-in-law, Loretta; and dear friend, Phyllis. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret. Visitation will be held from 3-9pm on Tuesday, April 26 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington. Entombment will be 11a.m. Wednesday, April 27 at St. Adalbert Mausoleum, 6800 Milwaukee Ave., Niles. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to The American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
