Powell, Gordon M. Age 85, US Army veteran, of Orland Park, IL passed away on October 4, 2012. Beloved husband and best friend for 55 years of, Rosemary (nee Collins); loving dad of Gail (Philip) Drost, Cheryl (Robert) Mitchell, David (Stephanie) Powell and Jennifer (Douglas) Liszka; proud granddad of 10; dear brother of the late Beverly Wolski. Lifelong resident of Orland Park and former Engineer at Illinois Bell Telephone. Memorial service Sunday, October 14th at 3:00 p.m. Faith United Methodist Church at 15101 South 80th Avenue Orland Park, IL 60462. Interment private at Fairmount-Willow Hills Cemetery, Willow Springs, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Society of Hematology, 2021 L.
