I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to the Shindler family. I will surely miss speaking to Gloria. She always brought a smile to my face especially when the conversation was about her loving family. Sincerely,

Bernie, Rob, Keith, and David, I just heard today of the shocking news. Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your lovely, wife/mother. I remember coming to your house when I first started selling insurance back in 1980 - one of my first clients - and you have been with me ever since. I share in your sadness, she was always a pleasure to speak with one the phone, and I will miss her cheerful voice.

My Gloria Joyce
We met 5 April 1957 and stood up at a wedding 7 April 1957 at he Morrison Hotel in Chicago. I was from Detroit and she was from Chicago.
That night after the wedding we wend with 4 friends for a ride to wild Chicago Hts to see the sites there.By the time I brought her home at 3 AM her parents were waiting to see what happend when they saw me they forgave her immediately. She lived in Albany Park and I went to College in Davenport Iowa.I would wait
until Friday at 3 PM after school then I would hitchhike to see my love in Albany Park and then in those days I would sleep on couch and her father would sleep in dining room and Gloria my Love would sleep with her mom in bedroom. Then on Sunday night at 11 PM the family would take me to the Rock Islad Railroad and I wopul take a Milk Train to Iowa and Arrive at my student res at 4AM. Then the process started again
Gloria Joyce My love spent over 18,000 days together not including my stay in the Army and on business trips. We always vacationed with our 3 boys as they grew up together Never would we go alone on vacations until the boys were grown.
Our Life was always to Share
Our song was "I'll Take Romance" by Steve and Edie Lawrence
Our life was always our Children, their spouces and then our grandchildrn and Gloria always guided me for better things for them all.
Gloria Joyce Loved our friends unconditionally and her sister was always there to help us.
Gloria Joyce made sure I was always positive, easy with no stress.
But by leaving me so early and young she missed a surprise birthday on 14th May for her 70th Birthday and she was not afraid to tell the truth about her age.
I am so LOST...and Angry that I couldn't do more for my LOVE.
She and I planned a 70th anniversary party and trip, as well as a 50th anniversary in Jan 18, 2009. Also we planned to open a antique bottle of coneac for us and family and friends then go on a extended trip aroud the world.
So be it.
By the way Gloria Joyce saved my life when I had cardiac arrest on my birthday 2 Jan 08 my birthday
She made sure that I would make life.
I will miss you my darling every second of each day
Love Forever,
Buddy
XOXOXOXOXO
