Dear McGarr Family,
Your mom was a class act! We so enjoyed her sense of humor when we would go out to our "Mother's Lunches". Pat Pratt and your mom would have us howling all through lunch. Can you imagine the laughter in Heaven right now? Most of our mother's Club are there now--Adie Smith, Jo Geis,Mary Senkpeil, Helen Maty, Mary Davis, Pat Pratt, Gerry Barger, Marge Plucinski, Lois holmstrom, and I've probably missed some names. We are the ones that are hurting--those left behind! I miss their faces, their consol, and their laughter. I just know there is a special table up there that is labelled "Park Lawn Mother's Club"! My whole-hearted sympathy to all of you!

Dear McGarr Family,
Your mother was a great friend to have. She will be missed by all. We had some fun times at Park Lawn Bingo and other events at PL.

Dear McGarr Family:
In sending along the sincerest condolences of the Park Lawn staff and members of our organization, please know that I also do it with a smile in tribute to a life well lived. Gloria will be remembered as a vital and smart woman of good humor who truly cared about others - what better legacy and lesson for us can there be ?
Peace be with you all.

I lost touch with Gloria after some of our daughters left the Girl Scouts, but I will always remember what an interesting and no-nonsense and loving person she was.
