I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Gloria led stories at the Chicago Avenue Branch of the Evanston Public Library and The Mighty Twig before that. She was wonderful with preschoolers as well as the students from Park School that came for their own story time with Gloria. I loved her crafts.

I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman. Gloria was always so kind and sincere in her greetings when ever I saw her. I have known her for many years'My deepest sympathy for all of the family. My heart goes out to all of you. May you be held in the grace of knowing what a contribution she was to this world. The one word that comes to me is "Kindness." She was that and so much more for those of us who crossed her path. Prayers and love.

Jack, it's been a few years, but I still remember Gloria's shining face. She kept us smiling on that camping trip.

Jack:
Barbara brought the notice of Gloria's passing to my attention. Memories, ...yes,
dinners out and at your home, fun things with the children, Khovanshchina at the Lyric, and some wine and wonderful conversations. And Gloria of course, always, thoughtful, kind, considerate, caring, all of the really important things in life. Sorry for your loss, sorry for all those people who knew her and will miss her presences.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Gloria Kerrill on a couple of occasions, but was struck by her devotion to her family and her warm, welcoming ways.
