To Gloria's family

I was a classmate of Gloria at Schurz High School. I last saw her at the 50th reunion of our graduation class in 1999. She was still the beautiful person that I remember so well from our school days. I also knew your father before he was so fortunate to marry your mother. We played football for the "Chicago Gremlins", a semipro team that played at the Rockola stadium that was on Central Avenue just north of Portage Park. It was a wonderful, and from this prospective, an innocent time. I am sure you will miss her very much.

Sue,

Memories of my teenage years bring Mrs. Haar to mind. How can you cry when you are laughing? So, I think about all the prank calls I made from your mother's house and she never got angry. Mrs. Haar would just laugh, she was so cool! How lucky we are to have known her. Mrs. Haar's smile and loving heart made us all feel at home and part of the family.

Sue,

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. My heart feels the pain you & your family are going through. Glor was a wonderful person & I'll never forget her for all the love and concern she had for my Susan. My prayers are with you as I ask God to see you through your grief. Take care!

Sue,

What can I possibly say - no amount of words could fully express what my heart holds for you and your family. Glor was truly an exraordinary and amazing lady. She was a wonderful mother and a beautiful person. Your mother was the coolest mom I've ever known and a very dear friend to me. I hope you know that the whole Haar Family has always held a special place in my heart and your mother will be etched in mine forever.
