Gloria was a dear friend of my Mom, Mary Minerva, my Aunt Mary Minerva and my Aunt Joyce Tognocchi. I remember her her for her great sense of humor and for her great intelligence. I had not the opportunity to see her for a few years as we now live in Michigan, but I will always remember her. R.I.P. Gloria !!

I first met Miss Gloria A. Franchi in 1982. I had just started attending Michele Clark Middle School. I was a 6th grader with an avid love for books. When she found this out, she would allow me to come to her classroom to sit and read books during my break. She would let me check two or three books out a week. She introduced me to the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series. We have remained in touch throughout all these years. She has been a wonderful friend to myself and my family. We love her and will miss her dearly! Condolences to the family.

Rest in Eternal Peace Miss Franchi!

Gloria is the kindest soul; she inspired my love of reading. I still have the copy of Anna Karenina she gave me over 45 years ago. I am sure she touched everyone she met in a positive manner. God Bless you, Gloria.

Gloria, thanks for being my "next door" teacher mate, remembering my birthday every year, sharing the same birthday as my mom, and sending my daughter books to read. Will miss you! Love, Dr. Gwen Long-Wimes

Was a wonderful person. My mother, Marian Domkowski, were great friends since they were teenagers! Gloria was my sponsor for me for my confirmation. She is in heaven now! Elaine Moncrieff

Ms. Franci taught me Algebra and helped kickstart my love for math at Michelle Clark Middle school back in the early 70s preparing me for advanced math as I began high school. So glad I met her later in my adult years, thanks to another person I met in my adult years, Linda Smith to be able to share that with her. Who would have ever known to come back in a full circle. An educator "Gem".
