Gloria Basile Obituary
Gloria M. Basile, age 84, of Oak Forest passed away January 29, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Anthony L. Basile. Proud grandmother of Brandi (Dino) Pavoni and Melinda Smith; great-grandmother of Danielle, Marisa, Emily, Dino, Donnie, Chase, and Cody. Dear sister of Ronald (Ann) Ganzer; and aunt of Vernon Ganzer. Preceded in death by her children Terry (Charles) Huser and Jerry Smith; parents Gladys and Harry Ganzer. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Gift of Hope www.giftofhope.org are appreciated. Memorial Visitation Monday February 15, 2021 from 9 AM until time of service 11 AM at Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147 th St Midlothian, IL 60445. Deepest condolences to the family, especially to cousins Ronny and Brandi.
What a warm and kind person Gloria was. I am so grateful to have known her. Also grateful she shared historical family pictures and documents with me as well as a couple others.
I will remember her gentle smile the most.

In loving memory of a beautiful person. We would make small conversations, she loved her outdoor cats! Always saw her driving around and walking.... She will be missed!!

My heartfelt love goes out to all of you, Gloria's family. Growing up, Gloria came to our house several times with Gladys, usually a Friday night. Us "girls" would gather around the kitchen table drinking our hot tea and talking. Well, at age 8 I had milked down tea and they talked. We may not have seen each other in years, but family lives forever in our hearts and Gloria's soft voice, calm spirit, and loving heart is my tender thoughts of her. She is at peace now in the loving arms of our Lord.
