Beloved husband of Mary Ann Petersen (nee Hankus), dear father of James of Crete, IL, Cheryl of Lockport, IL and Kenneth (Lori Schmidt) Petersen of Geneva, IL, cherished grandfather of Grace, Faith and Maeve Petersen, loving brother of Ralph (Agnes) of Osceola, IN, the late Duane (June) of Santee, CA and the late Dick Petersen, fond brother-in-law of Judith Hankus of Homewood, IL. Owner of Skip's Tire Co. located in Homewood. Resting at the Tews Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Hwy., Homewood, Friday, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Prayers 9:15 a.m. Saturday to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, Flossmoor Rd. and Leavitt Ave., Flossmoor, IL. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. James Hospital Olympia Fields Campus, 20201 S. My Thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I loved Uncle Skip alot. He will be missed by all of the Petersen Family. He had a hidden side of him which I found be to very funny. There are alot of good memories of him and he will always be in my heart.
