Wats up family! Yeah it's me again cause it's almost my birthday and ya'll not here to sing it to me. I miss everyone of ya'll. This is really the "over the hill" birthday that I wish you all had reached too so I'm going to celebrate for everyone. I'm going to put my head to the sky looking for each one of your stars and thank God again. Going to get a facial wax for the big day. I love, love, love ya'll. TTYL (talk to you later) Gail

Hello brother Glen, Your legacy showed in my email today. I wasn't expecting it but it's here. There's so many things I can say but you know them all. I've cried so many times thinking about the loss of you, daddy, mama, Linda and now Gary is with ya'll. It's lonely not being able to have family around. Well I've dried my tears of memory. It feels good to express my thoughts and acknowledge ya'll absence in my life. Love ya'll forever, Gail

Hey Glen,

It's almost Christmas, so forgive me if I ramble on. I haven't forgotten about you. Just keeping my mind occupied with work and school. It still hurts to not be able to pick up the phone and hear your voice on the other end, listening to my joys and sorrows. One day while thinking about you the most amazing thing happened. A man came into the parking lot and he had so many of your mannerisms I had to take a double look, from a distance he resembled you. Well enough from me tonight cause you know I can ramble on. I Love You...forever.

Hey Glen,

Sitting here, thinking about all the times we talked, about world issues(or whatever topic was the flava) or singing the Temptations tunes, watching you work on your next routine for skating or working on the motorcycle,or the time spent with my grandchildren. It's so hard not being able to pick up the phone to call you but, I know that you can hear my silent voice just as well.... Love you Big Bro...

missing you. Gail

Jasmine and Micheal wants me to tell you happy birthday and Diamond just keep thinking she'll see you at your birthday party tomorrow. Well everything else here on earth is fine but I bet not as fine as where you are but were stuck here for now. So uncle Glen keep watching us and makeing sure were ok and rest. Dad,

It broke my heart the day you left this earth, but I know that you're definitely in a better place now. No more pain, stress, and hard work with no appreciation is hanging over you or weighing you down. Sometimes, I don't understand why God takes away those you cherish, and I won't, but you'll never leave my thoughts or my heart. I miss you so much and the fact that you're gone makes it hard to get by sometimes. But now, you're my motivation for getting up and going to class, doing my work, and wanting to make something out of myself because I know that all of these things would make you very proud of me, and that's what I want. I wish that I could have saw you before you left this crazy world, just a glimpse of your face and beautiful smile, but I know that no one can turn back the hands of time, so I'll just hold on tight to the precious memories I have of you, as well as pictures, and live off of that. Wish you could be here for my birthday, but you're here in spirit and that's good enough for me. I love you more than words can express and actions could show and I'll never stop just because you're gone.

Love, your daughter Krystal

P.S. Happy Birthday! (even though it's not until next Monday)

To the family of Glen, my prayers go out to you all. I pray for comfort, Peace and understanding for you all. God Bless you...

If Tomorrow Never Comes…

If I knew it would be the last time that I’d see you fall asleep,

I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door,

I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time I’d hear your voice lifted up in praise,

I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two to stop and say, “I Love You”, instead of assuming, you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,

Well I’m sure you’ll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there’s always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,

And we always get a second chance to make everything right.

There will always be another day to say our “I Love you’s”, and certainly there’s another chance to say our, “anything I can do’s?

But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I’d like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget, tomorrow is not promised to anyone,

Young and old alike, and today may be the last chance you get o hold your loved one tight.

So if you’re waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?

For IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES, you’ll surely regret the day, that you didn’t that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear, tell them how much you love them and that you’ll always hold them dear, take time to say to say “I’m sorry”, “please forgive me”, “thank you: or “it’s okay”.

And if tomorrow never comes, you’ll have no regrets about today.

If Tomorrow Never Comes…

If I knew it would be the last time that I’d see you fall asleep,

I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door,

To the Ford Familyand friends of Glen Ford,

Gary Ford and Gail are long time friends of mine. At this time of loss, I feel with and for them a sense of grief. Glen must have been a marvelous man for he comes from the same "stuff" as Gary. Gary brings more joy than he can hardly realize; his unique style and "keeping it real" grace must have been a hallmark of the ford clan. It has been a joy to know him and, I feel, we must have known a littel of Glen because of Gary.

The blessings God gave the Fords and others, through Glen, are certainly reflected in the guest book entries. I regret having never met him on this side of life; however, the joy of knowing his brother makes me feel a real kinship with Glen. God bless his soul.

As we all have faults, I am certain Glen had his; yet, it is so wonderful to know that at death, we take time to share the good of those who have departed by death.

This is a further witness that gives hope and joy. Psalm 30: 5 is right: Joy does come with the morning. We know you all who knew and loved Glen miss him. Take comfort that he is in the Gracious hands of the Almighty.

To Gary and all the Fords, I send our love, condolences and peace.

God bless,

Vance P. Ross and all of the Ross Family (Formerly of Fairmont, WV)

Where we have lost another of our "Examples in Leadership," I pray we find cohesiveness...... as Family.

"Our brother, husband, father and friend;uncle, cousin, nephew, Glen, has left us.....

But oh the wonderful memories we bare, of him,the person we knew to care.

I diapered, mentored, debated and shared, so much of me, with this man who cared....for oh so many throughout his life, of "Family First" no less, no strife."

The Fruit of his being, we shall miss. But his memory will linger on.

The following is a quote from the late Benjamin Mays, Minister and Educator, Former President of Morehouse College:

"It must be borne in mind that the tragedy of life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach. It isn't a calamity to die with dreams unfulfilled, but it is a calamity not to dream....It is not a disgrace not to reach the stars, but it is a disgrace to have no stars to reach for. Not failure, but low aim is sin."

With love to his memory and the Family,

Wendel & Betty

You might not be feeling this and that's just fine

For a moment, I'll be selfish, this moment's mine

A true reminder that we are all here on loan

And extremely tough saying "peace be w/you" to one of our own

Glen A. Ford, a multitude to many

Gladly doing without, ensuring everyone had plenty

Comforting, gentle, strong, yet kind

Although he ain't yours, sayeth the Lord, he is mine

Now, enjoy...I share life is good as you reflect

Re-embrace, that even you choose to forget

It is indeed who you are, what has got you here

The ups n downs, the joy as well as the tears

So, Glen, for me, say hello to those I miss

Signed with love,
