Arends Sr., Glen E. beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Arends (nee Dado), loving father of Glen Jr. (Susan) and Craig (Mary) Arends, devoted grandfather of Timothy (Theresa), Jennifer (Mike) Rash and Thomas Arends, cherished great grandfather of Victoria Arends, Sarah, Adam and Alyssa Rash and Luke Arends, fond brother of Leonard (Janet) and the late Don (Eleanor) and Charles (Ruth) Arends. Visitation Thursday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday, 10:30 a.m. at the Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Rd. Interment Mt. Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind & Visually impaired, 1850 W.
