We are so very sorry for your loss. Gina gave us a tour of Chicago 20 years ago. She was so nice to take time from her busy life to spend a day with us--

I was so sorry to hear about Gina. As everyone else has said, she was such a nice person and growing up in Rogers Park and being at St Jeromes we all have such wonderful memories. I don't think I ever saw Gina without a smile. The last few years we always caught up with each other at the St. Pats dance. She will be missed. May the memories you hold in your heart sustain you in the days ahead.

Colleran Family,

Crusing the streets of Rogers Park after Teen Show practice with Gina at the wheel of the green VW bus, gunning the engine to experience the roller coaster ride at the dip in the road under the viaduct at Greenleaf..at least 6 times a nite!

The memory along with the dip in the road, will never fade.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy to Gina's children and family. Gina was a wonderful and loving woman. I worked with her for 8 years at Evanston Hospital. She was a mother figure and a true friend. I will miss her dearly.

To the Ernst/Colleran families. I knew Gina while growing up in St.Jerome's parish. We took those first car rides together-she drove the van and we set off on adventures to Old Orchard or just local to Touhy Beach. I can only say that it sounds like she continued to be one of the best friends people can have in life. To all that knew her later in life I know she will be missed as a good friend, mother, wife and family member.

Frau Ernst ~ That was her name while we were in Europe with the NIles West orchestra. I will always remember our 3 day trip to Germany, our bus rides with Joseph and our favorite saying "under" when we were drinking beer in the outside cafe in Austria. Gina was one of the highlights of my trip and I will miss her dearly. My prayers are with her family.
