Bryar, Germaine

Germaine J. Bryar, 88, of Hoffman Estates, formerly West Chicago, Il, passed away peacefully at Eden Vista Hoffman Estates on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

She was born on August 17, 1936 in Chicago, Il to Frank and Cecelia (Danielek) Brunke.

Germaine was employed by The Quaker Oats company until her retirement.

In her retirement, Germaine enjoyed gardening, sudoku puzzles, tv game shows and playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Brannon, Gilbert C. Brannon, Jr., Patricia Brannon, Ronald Brannon, John Brannon, her seven grandchildren, two sisters, three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.

Germaine was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Cecelia (Danielek) Brunke as well as husbands, Gilbert C. Brannon, Sr. and Leonard J. Bryar.

A private family service was held on September 3, 2024 at Morizzo Funeral Home.
