Sincere, Gerald J.

Gerald J. Sincere, age 67, a resident of Manitowoc, left this Earth while surround by his loving family to begin his next journey on Monday, August 17, 2015 at his residence.

Jerry was born on January 10, 1948 in Coleman to the late Joseph and Alice Witt Sincere. He graduated from Coleman High School with the class of 1966. In 1967, Jerry enlisted with the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1970 with the rank of SP5. On October 6, 1984, Jerry married Karen Laurin. Jerry was employed with the Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry for 31 years until his retirement in 2010.

Survivors include Jerry's wife: Karen; three children: Jason Sincere, Baraboo; Stacie (Jerry) Traurig, Neenah; and Kellie (Jason) Paul, Neenah; six grandchildren: Daniel Sincere, Emalee Traurig, Rowan and Benjamin Rhines, and Caleb and Bryce Paul; four sisters; one brother-in-law; also other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister, niece, father-in-law and two brothers-in-law.

In respect with Jerry's wishes, a private memorial service was held for his family at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory Chapel. Military rites were accorded by V.F.W. Otto-Oas Post 659 with the flag presentation by Jerry's brother-in-law, Craig Laurin. Online condolences may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Jerry's name.
