Beloved husband of Elizabeth Scanlon (nee Floyd); loving father of David (Jennifer) Scanlon, Trisha (Matt) Joines, Danielle Scanlon, Peggy (Justin) Gilliland and Stephanie (Mario) Leuzzi; proud grandfather of many; caring great-grandfather of two; kind brother of Patricia (late Mickey) Duh and Dennis Scanlon; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Gerald S. and Agnes Scanlon. Visitation 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Opyt Funeral Home, 13350 S. Baltimore Ave., Chicago, IL. Interment private.
