We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family. We will greatly miss Father Jerry. I have known him for 15+ years and feel like I just lost a great friend. He married my husband and I six and a half years ago he made our day extra special it meant a great deal to me for him to perform the ceremony. I was just a little nervous having everyone looking at me but having him standing there helped me. He could make people laugh as easy as he could take a joke himself. I'm sure everyone will agree Father Jerry liked to talk and talk and talk. My family loved to tease him about that. Even on my wedding day in our video when he stood up to give the prayer before the meal, he was told keep it short we were hungry. Like he would listen he had everyone in the hall laughing. He always knew how to cheer people up. I considered him more like an uncle than a friend. He was such a special person and so layed back that you would at times forget that he was a priest. We are very proud to say we knew Father Jerry and we always remember him.

I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Father Gerry. He was St. Joseph's diplomat, he was brilliant, humorous, and his homolies kept your attention, along with receiving knowledge. I will truly miss him, but now God has him.

We wish to express our smypathy to the family and friends of Fr. Jerry.
He will be well remembered by our family. In August of 2003 he helped celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary by celebrating Mass and attending our Reception. We do have the complete Mass on Video and his sermon gave it a very personal touch. God surely has a place for him in Heaven for the wonderful work he did here on earth.

Father Gerry was an inspiration to me and to many. He was a true servant of Christ, and a wonderful partner in neighborhood ministries. He will always be in my heart.
