Dear Marlene, Tracey, and Frank. I was so sorry and sad when my mom told me that Jerry had passed away. I have such wonderful memories of hanging out with all of you guys. Jerry had a great sense of humor, was very generous, and kind. I will always remember the trips to camp, the candy store, and other adventures. We had a lot of great times all of us together. I always think about how he made me walk on his back, now that I make my son walk on my back. My childhood would not have been the same without all of the memories I have with Jerry and you guys. I am thinking of all of you during this difficult time and will see you soon.

Mrs. Gurtz,
I met Gerry in 1988 at Gurtz Electric office. Over the past years he has been a mentor to me. I will miss his smile, laugh and jokes. I spent many hours in his office listening to Gerry's advice about business and family issues. If I had a chance for a second dad Gerry would be that person. I like most people will miss Gerry and he will not be forgotten.
Deepest Sympathy,
Debbie (Gordon) Grant

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Marlene and the whole Gurtz family at this very sad time. My step father, Shelly Wolff was a dear friend of Jerry's and is in the hospital at this time. I know Shelly wishes he could be there for Jerry. He will be there with him in spirit. Shelly always spoke so highly of Jerry and will miss him dearly.
Our condolences go out to all of you at this very sad time.
