Georgia Bee Taylor, born on October 4, 1930, passed away at the age of 94 on January 26, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. She dedicated 27 years of her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, a testament to her compassionate and caring nature.

Georgia was a woman of joy and intelligence, known for her happy demeanor, humor, and friendly attitude. She brought light and love into the lives of all who knew her. Her education at McKinley High School followed by her training at Truman College Department of Nursing equipped her with the skills that made her a beloved nurse.

Georgia was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Vada Vernee Woods, her son, Gordon Woods Jr., and grandsons, Anthony Chessher and Max Gordon Chessher. She was preceded in death by her loving son, Anthony Edmond Woods. Her commitment to her family was profound, often reflected in her favorite hobby: taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

At this time, there are no services planned. Georgia's life was one of service, love, and laughter, leaving a lasting impact on her family and community. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of those she touched.
