The biggest complaint I can give Mrs. Rhode is she always made me smile. As well as she inspired me in many ways. I attribute part of getting my BA and MBA to her, with her inspiration of education, and I am forever grateful. I can still hear her telling me to eat more greens, and her look of astonishment of how much ice cream I could eat:). Parker is my friend, and after my mom passed away, she made me feel like I was part of her family, and we would talk for hours about life. As my own family grew, she was kind and inspiring to my wife, and I am grateful my daughter got to meet her. Living in Arizona I didn't see her as much I would have liked, and she will be missed. She is one of the few that truly made this world a better place.
Endless love, Lewandowski family

Ed, our hearts mourn with you and your family and our prayers go forth daily on your behalf. We pray that the God of all grace will comfort, strengthen and give you peace. God's word reminds us that we will all cry sometimes, He says that "weeping will endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning..." Psalm 30:5

Parker, Ed and family... so very sorry to learn of your loss. I met Georgette for the first time when I was 18 years old in 1984 and driving off to college with Parker to Penn. Then, over the next several years on roads trips to Philly for Penn home football games and after college when Parker and I moved back to Chicago. I will always remember the kind and loving mother of a dear friend from college. But most of all, I will remember the inflection in her voice when I called her 13 years ago to get her son's contact information and told her I was naming my soon to be born son "Parker" as well. The Rohde family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

To Edwin and family,
I'm so glad to have known Georgette. She was so warm, compassionate and friendly. I'm glad I got a chance to see her last Sunday before she went home to be with the Lord. She is finally resting in the Father's arms! Praise the Lord! I know it's difficult, but there is a rainbow among the clouds of sorrow. I will miss her very much. May God give you and your family comfort and reassurance during this time.
