Romas, George D. cherished husband of Sophie (nee Kogiones), devoted father of James (Patricia), Peter (Voula) and Gus (Anthi), fond grandfather of Sofia, dear brother of Vaso (the late Sava) Kounas, Tasia (Nick) Papadakis, Sam (Anny), Paraskevi (Constantinos) Kordopitoulas, Nick (Kathy), Dena (George) Zarkos, Dimitra (the late Petros) Romas, Coletta (the late Costas) Roumeliotis and Maria (the late Tassos) Roumeliotis, dear uncle of many nieces and nephews and friend to many. George was a member of the Masons Hellenic Masonic Lodge #1084, Medinah Shriners Of Chicago, AAONAS, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Right, AHEPA and Pan Arcadian Federation of America Midwest District. Visitation Thursday, 4 to 9 p.m. at Conboy's Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 Cermak Rd., Westchester, IL. At the family's request, those attending the funeral Friday should go directly to the The Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, at Central & Harrison for 10:30 a.m. services. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL, 60707.
