Glen Isaac Obituary

Glen Dee Isaac, 77, of Evansville, IN passed away on Mon., April 18, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital. He was born July 19, 1938 in Mount Vernon, to William and Lillian (Goff) Isaac.
Glen was a 1956 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Okanogan APA 220 from 1956-1959. Glen worked as a manager for ADM Milling Company, retiring after 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, yard work and attending his grandkids sporting events. Country music and playing guitar was a lifelong passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ruth Foster and Marcille Trageser; and brother William Isaac, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bonnie (Small) Isaac; son, Mark (Jill) Isaac; daughter, Beth Doerflein; grandchildren, Caitlin and Craig Isaac, Austin Doerflein (fiancé Samantha Lipking), J.T. and Seth Doerflein; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service was held Fri., April 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Schneider Funeral Home, 512 Main St., Mount Vernon, with Brother David Murphy officiating and entombment to follow in Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum with military rites.
Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Thurs., April 21, 2016 at the funeral home.
