I worked for George at Premier Employment back in '99-'00. He taught almost everything I know about handling a phone. He was a really good guy with an infectious smile and a personality that eclipsed the sun. I'm so sorry to hear about this.

Dearest Mrs P, Faye and Janice
The sorrow of your loss is felt personally. We were so shocked with the news. But God had His plans and as difficult as it is for us to accept we are powerless. Maybe this is how God draws us to him and we learn to rely on faith to support us through the pain of a loved ones loss. Our prayers are with you all. May his memory be eternal

Dear Mrs P, Faye and Janice
The sorrow of your loss is felt personally and throughout the Greek community. George was a dedicated brother and son and as he fondly refered to himself as a young boy, "mascot" to the Daughters. Whenever I heard George speak at or saw the energy placed into an event his love of the organization and the life long connection were apparent. A recent personal memory was George speaking at the joint meeting between Districts and his view of AHEPA's accomplishments and direction. George personal list of accomplishments is also long and his life was full. But God had His plans and as difficult as it is for us to accept we are powerless. Maybe this is how God draws us to him and we learn to rely on faith to support us through the pain of a loved ones loss. My prayers are with you all. May his memory be eternal.

On behalf of Hector Chapter 107, Daughters of Penelope - Milwaukee, WI, I wish to express our deepest sympathy to the Pantazelos Family as well as to our fellow AHEPANS on the passing of our "Brother", George. Although I only had the pleasure of briefly meeting him at the last Mid-Winter Conference, his involvement with the AHEPA Family was well known throughout the District and at the National level. George was a fine example of what AHEPA represents: strong leadership, dedicated service to fellowman and our youth, as well as to the Fatherland and one's proud ethnic heritage. His legacy to the organization will serve as an inspiration for all of us to continue the hard work and dedication George exemplified for all to follow. May his memory be eternal!

TO ALL WHO WROTE SUCH BEAUTIFUL SENTIMENTS. My sister, Mother, I and my husband are so devastated by our loss. We loved George so much and are still in utter shock. My loving, funny, gregarious little brother 49 is gone. My Mom can't believe that she had to bury her son today....its just not right.
The outpouring of love at his wake and funeral were an incredible testiment to a wonderful brother and son....and your friend. It will take a very long time for us as we are in deep grief. We keep thinking that at any moment he will walk through the door with his contagious smile, bigger than life personality and big heart....The family thanks all of you for your kind words and we will treasure them always. May we all pray for him and keep his memory alive forever. He so loved his family and the Order of Ahepa. His accomplishments were many, and we must not let his flame die. WE must keep moving forward with his relentless desire to keep Ahepa strong and to continue to provide sholarships, and monies for Thelessimia and other charitable causes. Please keep Ahepa close to your hearts as he did so freely.

I was deeply grieved to read about George's passing. My prayers and thoughts are with his family. George was a great person, always fun to talk to. As one of his temps at Premier, he did his best to keep us busy, even though business was slow. He will be greatly missed by his clients and, most especially, the temps he served.

To the Pantezelos family;

I just found out about the news of a dear friend. My deepest condolences for your loss. He was an individual who would light up the room when he walked in! He was a joy to be around and he will be sorely missed. AHEPA lossed a great man that will be hard to replace, but most of all your family has an even greater loss as a loving son, brother and companion to Lynn. I will personally miss him dearly. I had not talk to him recently, but I knew he was only a phone call away. I am sorry I did not make that call when I thought of him. I will never forget him! May his memory be eternal.

Just last week I was regretting having lost touch with George while driving through Greek Town. The only time I ever spent with him was at Athena. George worked with me and Dr. Thompson at Children's Memorial Hospital to secure a $50,000 gift from AHEPA To benefit the Thalessemia Program. He poured his heart and soul into completing this gift for the hospital.

It was an honor to work with him as we accomplished his goal of providing a better life for those living with this terrible disease.

Dear Mrs Pantazelos,Faye,Janice, and Lynn
George was My Best Friend, and My Best Man at my wedding. A long time ago he picked me up when I was down and it turned my life around. It will never be forgotten and he will be deeply missed.

Our deepest condolences to the family.

Like many of George's brothers and sisters, I met George through AHEPA. He was the Greek version of "Jackie Gleason," talented, funny and good-hearted, a pleasure to be with and a person of action, not empty words. He will be missed by his entire family which extends throughout North America and even as far as Greece and Australia.

Over two millenia ago, Menander posited: "He Only Lives, Who Living Enjoys Life." George enjoyed his life, yet it was cut so short. May we learn from his example to enjoy ours with the same "gousto," while doing good deeds and spreading happiness--that is a life well-lived. May our Lord grant his family strength, and keep George by his side for eternity. Fond condelensces to George's famiy, "Aoinia Umnemi."

Dearest Bessie, Faye and Janice:
It was with tears that I read the obituary on our Beloved Brother and AhepanGeorge.
In talking to you last night Bessie we remembered many good times we had in the past. Knowing George since he was an infant and to note that he followed in the footsteps of his Father and Mother was very gratifying. I know Tom will welcome him with open arms.
As I read of his progress in the 13th District when I received the GreekStar I was very proud of his accomplishments along with his District Lodge. Recently I bragged about him when our Disrict Lodges visited from District 20. Tooted our horn.I am still loyal to 13th and have many memories especially with Bessie.
May he rest in peace and MAY HIS MEMORY BE ETERNAL.
Jim joins me in expressing our condolances.
Love in Theta Pi,

Dear Pantazelos family and friends,
What a gift George was. Many knew him through his impressive work with AHEPA and other commendable efforts. Fewer may have known about his tremendous contributions to medical progress and children. George's warmth, humor and charm will be missed deeply. His spirit will remain in our hearts and memories always.

Yesterday I called his office and got an answering machine message. Ten minutes later I got the sad news after calling his home number and speaking with Lynn.

George was focused in his desires to further the many fine programs of the Order of AHEPA, of which he was a proud and passionate member. Once he focused on a goal, he was relentless until he achieved it. Many fine charities benefited from his hard work and passions. He was the spark which re-energized an organization that had become complacent over the years. His spark and fire will positively influence the Order of AHEPA for many years to come.

I will sorely miss him. So will many others.

May his memory be eternal.
