George Joseph Michaels; George is the Beloved husband of Nancy Michaels, nee Alfidi; Devoted father of George Michaels and Ryane (Daniela Hagen) Michaels; Loving son of the late Michael and Marie Michaels; Adoring grandfather of Robert George Michaels-Hagen; Dear brother of Michael Michaels, Noreen (Bruce) Wasz, Jacqueline Michaels and the late Cathy Michaels; Loving brother-in-law of Caroline (Nick) Ceisel and David (Erin) Abzug; Dear uncle of Michael (Nicole), Kristen (Zachary), Kimberly (James), Joseph (Juliana), Lucas, David, Eleanor, Rowan, Liam and dear friend to many; Visitation Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago. Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations made to either Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation at www.pbmr.org or to Boys and Girls Club of America at www.BGCA.org is greatly appreciated. Sad to hear the news. Deepest condolences. Best friends growing up at OLA. My Godfather Lee lived right across the street on Trumbull. We visited and played together often. RIP Turtle (affectionately named by friends because he ran so slow on the bases, lol).
