Age 76, Marine Veteran, beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Meyerhoff); loving father of Rosemary (Richard) Shirey, Susan (Paul) Fortier, Laura (Scott) Batzel, Jean (William) Mehaljevic and the late George Jr.; cherished grandfather of 11; devoted brother of Rudolph Kopf and the late Joseph; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday 2 to 9 PM. Service Friday 10:00 AM at Lawn Funeral Home 7909 State Road (5500 W) Burbank, IL 60459. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Funeral Info: 708-636-2320.

Was heartbroken to hear of Uncle George's passing. He was a good man, loved him with all our heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Know that he is at peace and is with the others who have passed before him and loved him dearly also. He is in God's world now, peace and good will is his for eternity. All of you hold each other during this hard time, be there for one another, remember the good times we all had with Uncle George, there is no one like him!
