What a pleasure to know George Kline and his outstanding family. My life path was enhanced by working at Klines Dept. Store. Lasting memories of encouragement from Mr. George and Shirley!

associated with the Kline family. I can see his ever present smile! Love to know how you guys are doing!

Dear Mitch and Betty,
I was sorry to here of the passing of your father. Abe, Ida,George, and Shirley represented so much to all of us who had the pleasure of working at Kline's Dept. Store. I was blessed that George and Shirley could see more in me than I could see in myself. They gave me an opportunity to move into management during a time when minority opportunities were very limited. My people skills were developed because of their mentoring and leadership. Without the support and encouragement of your father, my successful career with the Prudential Ins. Co. would not have been possible.
I will always have fond memories of your dad and all of the Kline family.

We always shopped at Klines in Chicago Heights when I was much younger. May you rest in peace, Mr. Kline knowing all the joy you shared with so many folks. You have touched many lives and will be remembered as a wonderful and compassionate gentleman. God Bless!!
