Kelly, George F. 73 years, U.S. Air Force Veteran, beloved husband of Lauretta (nee Castonguay), dearest father of Kirk, Kitty (Joe) Bova, Peter and Monica (Larry) Perez, loving grandfather of Kelly, Jessica, Gabrielle, Michael and Monica Jo, dear great-grandfather of Anthony and Jake, fond brother of William, Betty Murphy, Rosemary Sobol, Mary McMahon, Jack and the late Thomas, Alice Martino and Rita Hogan, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday, 8:45 a.m., from the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 West 127th Street, Crestwood, to Incarnation Church for a 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Hello Kirk, Kitty, Peter & Monica,
I was so sorry to just learn of your fathers passing. I worked with your dad (and my mom) at Bergmans for many years. George was a wonderful, kind, intelligent person and I regret having lost contact with him.
When we were both still at Bergmans,every Saturday morning we had a ritutal at the store of doing the word scramble from the newspaper. Your dad always had the most words in the least amount of time. He was amazing.
I would also like you to know how proud your dad was of you. He loved to talk about what you were doing in school and sports. And...when Kelly was born he couldn't stop smiling.
In this time of loss and missing him, may you find comfort in knowing someday you will all be together.
