Irwin, George Arthur, Sr. Age 79 of Elkhart, Ind. formally of Tinley Park, IL. passed away on Oct. 21, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Jeanette (nee Dubinecki) Irwin. Dear father of Kenneth Irwin of Bolingbrook, George Jr. (Linda) Irwin of Homewood, late Gary Irwin (2011) and James Irwin of Cresthill. Grandfather Eric Irwin, Julie Prokop, Brandon Irwin; Great Grandfather of Brayden & Ava Prokop. Son of the late George and Eleanor (nee Zuiker) Irwin. Brother of Marge (George) Terzian of Des Plaines, Jean (late Al) Gaudio of Munster, Ind., Susan Irwin of Chicago. George belong to local #17 and was a tool & die maker; G & K was his own business, in 1965 he made the 1st Die for Panduit Corporation.; he was a former member of the VFW in Tinley Park, Elkhart Moose Lodge and an usher at St. George Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25th from 2:00PM-9:00PM at Heartland Memorial Center, 7151 183rd St.,Tinley Park, IL.
