Berger, George W. age 91, Veteran Korean Conflict, beloved husband of Connie M. (nee Champlin), loving father of Michael J. (Patricia) and Peggy M. (James) McFarland, dear grandfather of Michael S. (Nicole), Martin, David, Sarah and the late Brian Keith, great-grandfather of Ava and Connor. Fond brother of the late John, Mary Pagel, Harry, Otto, Rose Tempel, Frank, Theresa and Joseph, uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of St. Nicholas of Tolentine and St. Augustine H.N.S. and Usher's, Jolly Nick's, St. Augustine Goldenagers, Former Assistant Cubmaster St. Augustine Pack #3480 and longtime manager of Cub's Back of the Yards Little League Team. Funeral Prayers Thursday, April 30th 9:30 a.m. from Zimmerman & Sandeman Funeral Homes, 5200 W. 95th St, Oak Lawn, to St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
