Bacos, George C. U.S. Army Vet. WWII, beloved husband of the late Frieda (nee Bouras), loving father of Elaine (Steve A.) Regopoulos, devoted son of the late Christ and Helen Bacos, proud grandfather of Presbytera Dana (Fr. Peter) Spiro, Evan (Maria) Regopoulos, Georgina (fiance Tommy M. Pappas) and Stacie Regopoulos, great-grandfather of Theodore and Elaina Spiro, dear brother of Peter (Madge) Bacos and Mary (Peter) Poulos, dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Past parish council and choir member of St. Nectarios Church for 27 years, American Legion Evzone Post #1039, Order of AHEPA and Elks Lodge #1526 Des Plaines, IL. George volunteered many years cutting childrens hair at Illinois Childrens Hospital, Chicago and owned George's Barber Shop for 45 years. 100 gallon donor-bloom donor. Visitation Sunday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Family and friends will meet Monday morning at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle Rd., Palatine, IL, 60067 for funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Nectarios Church appreciated. Arrangements by: John G.
