Genevieve Koziol Obituary

Koziol, Genevieve S. "Miss Gen" former Senior Vice-President and 54 year employee of Cragin Federal Bank, died November 30, 2005, after a very long illness. She now joins her cherished sister Lillian (Grzegorczyk), and loving parents Victoria (Jajko) and Joseph Koziol, in restful peace, survived by her beloved niece Joanne Starzec and several cousins. A former resident of the Jefferson Park, Cragin and Niles communities, Genevieve most recently resided at Sunrise Assisted Living of Park Ridge, where through the ever respectful, compassionate, and deeply caring interactions of the always-positive Sunrise staff, especially her immediate caregivers, particularly Edith and Ena, under the direction of Pauline Campbell, she continued to enjoy life and friendships until her earthly light very peacefully became a heavenly star. Visitation Friday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave. Niles, Funeral Saturday 10:15 a.m. to St John Brebeuf Church Mass 11 a.m. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum. Dear Joanne, We were so sorry to hear of the death of your Aunt Genevieve. She was a wonderful and inspiring person. We are sure you take comfort that at the end she was in such and caring place and now is at rest.
