Still thinking of you every single day. Not one day has gone by without a memory of you, Gary, and missing you and loving you. That will be forever!!! Love you, Gary!!!!

I can't believe that it has been 7 years since I lost Gary. Not ONE DAY goes by without thinking of and missing Gary. I knew that my life would change drastically, when Gary passed, I just didn't know that this terrible feeling of loss would remain so strong. I miss Gary just as much as I thought that I would, only more. I keep thinking of our cross country trip that we talked about taking. I usually would never go anywhere in a camper, but Gary talked me into it and I began looking forward to that trip.

I regret that I did not go to Gary's house on the day that he came home. That was always what I did. I would be there just as he would pull on to the drive way. I should have been there. I will be sorry forever.

I am sure, that all of us, who loved Gary, will continue to miss him and think of him. I hope that when my time is over, Gary and I will be together, again.

Until then, I will continue to think of all of the laughs, the fun, the fights and the good food we made together. Don't let me forget the mayhem, either. Gary was the best, and I will miss him until we meet again.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Van Vleet family. Gary became close to the Michels' family after meeting my father when the Service Station was next to the VFW. He would sometimes call just to wish us a Merry Christmas, etc. We will all miss seeing him in Brookfield at the 4th of July parade. Rest in peace my friend.

without you. There is a hole in my heart that will never be filled and a longing for a 54 year friendship that can never be replaced.

Many memories of Gary from the 70's! All full of life, action and excitement! Gary was very unique. He cared deeply for and about his friends. He was extremely adventurous..to say the least. I will cherish those memories forever. RIP Gary...
