Carol, I was really very saddened to hear about Gary. He was a very good friend during our teenage years. He will be missed by many, I am sure.

I believe it was still DHEW when I first met Gary; later to become DHHS. Gary & his comrads in PIB then OIG always had a great sense of humor. It's been some time since I've seen him and those comrads, but glad they were there to put a smile on a face when it was needed. Gary and all of you are in my prayers.

I worked with Gary many many years ago. He was dedicated to his profession, to his friends, and he had a spirit of fairness and compassion for all. He will be missed.

I've known Gary since 1971 when he worked at SS program center and came to Valparaiso where I was manager of the SS office. We competed in recruiting VU grads to work for SS. He always had a great smile. To his family, sorry for your loss, he was too young.

I worked with Gary years ago in Chicago. He was a great guy and I thoroughly enjoyed our trips together. Even though I haven't seen him in a number of years I will still miss him.

To Carol and the family - Gary and I worked and played together since the early '70's. We didn't always agree about sports and politics, but we never forgot we were good friends. We'll really miss him in December when the geezers get together for a holiday celebration and on our annual September Las Vegas trip. He loved the sports, the food, and the passing scene there.

Dear Amy,
My heart is sad for you and your family. May God just give you peace in your heart and know He is gracious to allow our hearts to become easier as time goes by. Memories are truly treasures, of which you have many. I love you and care about you.
