Kachigian, Garabed "Jerry" age 85, of Park Ridge, beloved husband for 58 years of Martha, loving father of Pamela (John) Annel and Jeffrey Kachigian, proud grandfather of Joey Annel, dear brother of Sema, Alma and Sadie, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, 3 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Funeral Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. James Armenian Church, 816 Clark St Evanston, IL, 60201. Entombment Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either St. James Armenian Church or the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter, 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800, Chicago, IL, 60631. We were deeply sadden by the passing of Jerry. Jerry had an effect on all those who he met and will always be remembered as a sweet and kind man, and a smile to go along with it. We have lost a good Armenian, but God has called him home for heavenly duties. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
