Hand, Gail Eva

Nee Turner, 84, longtime resident of the South Side of Chicago-Clearing neighborhood, passed away on March 11, 2022. Beloved wife of 62 years to Ronald Hand; loving mother of the late Gail S. (John) Rodriguez and Peter Hand; cherished grandmother of Jahmila Rodriguez, John (Cynthia) Rodriguez, and Stevie Rodriguez; dearest sister of Norma Siedlecki; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Gail was a die-hard Chicago Bears fan. She loved spending time with her family and adored spoiling her grandchildren.

Services will be held at Central Chapel, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service, Wednesday, March 16th, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation following in accordance with her wishes. MASK WEARING IS ENCOURAGED WHILE IN THE FUNERAL HOME.
