Joe and kids:
I am so shocked and saddened to hear about Gail. She was my absolutely very best friend while we lived in Palos Park. She was everything .... we had so much fun together.
We shared so many experiences.....our pregnancies, kid events, gossip, house building, exercising, babysitting, and more gossip. We always had a good laugh. She defined what a good person is.
She will always be with us.
Joe, God bless you and the kids!!!!

Dear Dr. Gavron and Family,
Approximately 21 years ago you took
care of our daughter, Leslie referred
by Dr. Mejicano.Leslie had strep, mono and tonsilitis..the office was giving you balloons for your birthday and you brushed that all aside to help save our daughter as her throat was closing. Leslie is 42 now and lives in Florida and manages a bank and brought us great joy over the years. Thank you...Thank you...I just had to write
and tell you how sorry we were to
read about your wife. May God Bless all of you and grant you peace.

Dr. Gavron & Family:
This is your old California Ave. neighbor telling you that I am thinking of you at this difficult time. I phoned my mother, Martha, down in Nokomis this morning and told her the news and she sends along her prayers as well. I understand all too well the grief that you must be feeling. We lost my father Andy last August and my father-in-law this past February.
You're family is all thought of fondly as your parents were good neighbors to us all those years. Bless you all.

To Dr. Joe, Aubrey, Jon, and Chad
My deepest and sincere sympathies go out to each and every one of you. I was so shocked, traumatized, and saddened by this, it felt like I got hit by a train. Gail was that person that can brighten up ANYONE'S day! She lived everyday to its fullest and would go out of her way to do something for you if you so desired. I will never forget this one time when Aubrey and I were in 3rd grade. We had Junior Great Books Club together and Mrs. Gavron was our leader. I did not read the story that day and before Mrs. Gavron showed up with our pizzas, Aubrey told me that if we don't read the story, we have to go back to the lunchroom. So me being me, I said ok and left. As I returned to the library to pick up a book I needed, someone from our group spotted me and pointed me out to Mrs. Gavron. Mrs. Gavron felt so bad that I did not eat pizza with them and the next day, she brought me Subway for lunch. Thats just kind of person she was and I know she will continue to spread her love to everyone from heaven!

So sorry to hear of Gail's sudden passing. Gail was so easy to talk to, friendly, outgoing and caring. It felt like I had known Gail for a very long time, in truth, the time was way too short. Johnathan and my grandson, Dan were friends. It's strange how our paths crossed in so many ways.
My heart and special prayers go out to the whole family. Gail will be dearly missed.
Sincerely,
DiSilvio
