I've just now heard of Gay Gay's passing.You have my heartfelt sympathy for your loss of a wonderful wife,mother,sister and friend to many. You are in my prayers as well as Gay Gay will be.

I met Gay-Gay long ago as with the rest of the Lamonica family. She welcomed me and always made me comfortable. On any family occasion I always looked forward to seeing her. She was a classy and loving woman. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

This saddens me so bad, gay gay was a beautiful person she always was, her sweet smile and kindness toward everyone around her, when she used to come to our house when I was a kid I remember it like it was yesterday, she was a good friend a great mother and wife,but now she went home to her father, my prayers are with the families at this time. I'm saddened by the passing of Gay-Gay from this earth, and happy to have had her friendship which was above and beyond exemplary. No doubt she was a Christian example and now is with God. I'm sure your feeling of loss is immeasurable. I want you all to know that your wife/mom was one of my oldest and dearest friends. She was always the sweetest, kindest, loving person to everyone. I'm so happy Johnny was able to spend the summer with his Auntie Gay, Uncle Joe and cousins Nick, Joe and Mike (& Daisy too). He always came home with such great stories and loved and adored his Auntie Gay Gay so much. He would tell me so many interesting stories that Aunt Gay told him. He would repeat them verbatim. She left a deep and loving impression on him and she will always be in both our hearts. I'm so glad he was able to bring a little joy in the house when there was so much going on. Johnny prayed every night for a miracle for Auntie Gay. We all did. It's hard to imagine her gone. It seems like just yesterday we were all meeting on 31st Street to walk to Armour Park to practice for the Gym Show with Ms. Jan. Unfortunately, life passes us all by so fast. I believe Gay is with her Mom & Dad and pain free now. I know you guys were her pride and joy. Joe, she loved you so much-I'm sure you know. Nick, Joe & Mike when you entered the room she glowed-her face lit up. She adored and loved you guys so much. She was so proud of all her beautiful boys. I believe her love for you all, gave her the will to hang on as long as she did although she was so weak. Keep her in your hearts always and never forget how much she loved you all. My heart and prayers are with you all. In repeating what so many others have expressed, no one will ever forget her beautiful smile and what a beautiful person she was, inside and out. Dear LaMonica Family,

I am so sorry to hear the news. I haven't seen Gay Gay for many years but remember her quite fondly from our teen-age years together at Armour Park. She always had the sharpest wit and spunk as well as a mischievious side. She was fun to be around, a sweet girl and a great friend. Everyone loved her. I know she will be very much missed by all. I am a friend and co-worker of Ginger Passarelli. I never met "Gay Gay" but I feel like I knew her because of all the wonderful ways in which Ginger described her. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
