Another October without you. Too much time has passed. I thought of you every minute on your 42nd Birthday 10/7. You will
be 12 years gone on 10/22. I want to fill you in on everything! Hopefully you can see it all - your 3 beautiful daughters and Kevin's kids and of all of us I believe you were at Matt's wedding!! Miss you every day Gabe! Love Aunt Colleen

My nephew Gabe turned 30 one month ago on October 7. It seems like so long ago but also like just yesterday. I will forever cherish the memory of sitting next to him during his 30th birthday dinner. I did not know it would be the last time I saw him, enjoyed his laugh, hugged him, and heard his voice. Reading these entries from friends, former classmates, teachers, everyone is so moving. I am so happy to know he touched so many others' lives as he so positively influenced mine and the lives of our family members. Until we meet again Gabe, "may God hold you in the palm of his hand." During the time Gabe worked in the building where I have my office, we had frequent, off-the-cuff exchanges, all of them positive, many of them amusing and enlivening. I experience Gabe as an unusually sensitive, generous and kind person, an especially genuine person, one with many gifts, held quietly within himself. I am deeply sorry to learn of Gabe's death, and I am very sorry that his precious daughters and his family members must face the loss of him and his lovely ways.
