Gabe W. "Hip" King, 78, died Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at home under Hospice care. The Savannah native attended Public and Private Schools of Chatham county. He worked for R.C. Motors Lines and was self-employed. He attended Jerusalem Baptist Church. Survivors: a devoted wife, Mary W. King of Savannah; three daughters, Willie Mae Green of Savannah; Mariah Milton of Savannah, Jestine King of Savannah; three sons, Gabe W. (Ronda) King Jr. of Savannah, Leroy King of Savannah, Martin Luther KIng of Savannah; sister, Virgil(Robert) Coleman of Savannah; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
