Frederick Webb Obituary

Webb, Frederick C.

FREDERICK CHARLES WEBB passed away August 21, 2021 at the age of 76. He was the first child of Lloyd Webb and Maxine Helm Webb. Fred passionately pursued his interests. From his teens he built, painted and raced high performance cars. Favorite projects included his 1956 Corvette and a 1967 Nova he built for his sister. He followed his father, beloved Uncle Robert Jones and other menfolk into hunting and fishing. If it was summer, and the water wasn't too high, you could find him on Fox Lake commanding his boat. Fred was a career truck driver. From package cars to 18 wheelers, Fred was a faithful Teamster. He was generous in his friendships and advice. A natural raconteur, he regaled friends and family at every gathering. His parents and sister Loisine Webb Brown predeceased him. He is survived by his children: Lavetta (Darrell), Frederick (Yvonne), Novella, David, Vincent, Julian and Brandon; Nineteen grandchildren; Nine great grandchildren; Sisters: Ralanda (Kimary), Faith, Towanda and Nicole; Brothers: Anthony, Artis and Benjamin: and many cherished cousins and friends. Services Friday, September 3, 2021 at 12:30 pm at Wallace Broadview Funeral Home 2020 West Roosevelt Road, Broadview, Illinois.
